Mircea Grabovschi

Mircea Grabovschi (sometimes spelled Grabovski or Grabowski; December 22, 1952–2002)〔(Mircea Grabovschi ). Sports Reference. Retrieved on 2014-06-15.〕 was a Romanian handball player and coach. Born in Sighişoara, he played for Dinamo Bucharest.
He won the gold medal in the 1974 World Men's Handball Championship in 1974 and the silver medal in the 1976 Summer Olympics as part of the Romanian handball team, having played all five matches and scoring 18 goals. He played 199 matches for the national team and scored 544 goals.
After retiring from active play, he became a coach, managing among others HC Argeș.
Grabovschi was an avid bridge player.
